Northern Cricket Union Chairman Roger Bell and President Dr. Murray Power made the 2011 draws for the various NCU Cup competitions at Newforge Country Club on Thursday. Carrickfergus 1st XI have been drawn at home to Bangor in the NCU Challenge Cup, the match due to be played at Middle Road on 28th May. Carrick last met the Co Down side in the cup in the quarter final of the 2007 competition, which Carrick won convincingly by a margin of 116 runs.
