It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we have to announce the passing of our highly esteemed longest-serving member and dear friend, Robin Beggs. Robin joined the Club in 1949 and played for almost fifty seasons. He was First XI Captain on a number of occasions as well as serving with distinction as the Club's President for several years. He was an Honorary Life Member of the Club and, last year, Robin became the inaugural recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award. Despite failing health in recent years, Robin seldom missed a First XI match home or away and he will be sadly missed by everyone associated with our Club. We extend our deepest condolences to partner Lynda, daughter Janet, brother Ian, and his extended family circle.
